I can't believe we lost to that shower of ****. ****ing embarrassing. As that useless lump of a centre back who gifted Cardiff their winner he can piss right off. So annoyed right now.
I'm just relieved that having got a good look at Cardif that even if we don't improve under Hasenhuttl, we're still not quite the most boring team in the league.
Another hopeless performance hot on the heels of the spurs fiasco. Its not too late to sort it out but we need an overhaul in jan which i dont think the club are capable of doing.
My view all season. Let’s hope Ralph hasn’t got a 14 day cooling off period on his contract in which to change his mind. This season our buying policy has been terrible and worse. These players cost Hughes his job and will do the same for this guy unless we get some decent loans in January. I would not trust most of our defenders with my bike lock keys, they’d be sure to lose them!!
Thank goodness that's over. Painful to watch but as Steve79 said, he's only had about 48 hours to work with the players. You could see that they were trying to take in new information and a 0-0 probably would have been fairer for two really poor sides playing in really awful conditions with a poor referee. Unfortunately we were undone by our own mistakes - again. Not poor defending as others have said - a straight forward cock up. It will take time for Ralph to have an effect on the team. The slow build up play under Puel and MP2 has slowed down their decision making so whilst they tried to up the tempo today all that really happened was they misplaced passes. It was interesting to note (I think) that McCarthy had been instructed to kick the ball upfield rather than play out from the back. I'm all for that but you need to make sure that the keeper can kick consistently to a target man who can trap / knock down the ball when it arrives (like Rickie did so well). It will also take a few games to experiment with personnel. Confidence is low at the moment so I'm not going to slate Vestergaard for today. He may well be the leader we are looking for long term (I haven't seen it yet!)_ but there are other decent defenders there too - we just need to make sure that when in doubt you don't try anything fancy; you kick into row Z.
I think we made the right decision by the way, and I hope he can pick them up; as their confidence is shot at the moment.
Vestergaard has got to be one of the poorest CB's we've had for many, many years wins very little in the air, totally static on the back foot, seems totally unaware of what's going on around him, doesn't dominate forwards, distribution awful, the list goes on and on. Wrong to pick out one player but this fella is truly awful?
