What really puzzles me is the amount of people (locally) who wear Barcelona tops....and I've bought them in the past when on holiday blah blah blah but won't again.

Fuk Barcelona, I don't care how good they are.

And who said Champions League players are soft. Asensio misses Real Madrid game with a serious injury.

    http://m.bbc.com/sport/football/41216389

Spain midfielder Marco Asensio will miss Real Madrid's Champions League opener against Apoel Nicosia because of an infected pimple.

Asensio, 21, had been shaving his legs and the infection to the pimple "stopped him pulling up his socks", said manager Zinedine Zidane.

Forward Cristiano Ronaldo is available for the holders as he serves a domestic suspension for pushing a referee.

Ronaldo's suspension was handy, he's currently on the physio table after a nasty collision with Veet

European football was really cheapened when teams could drop from the Champions League into the UEFA after their first defeat.

The Champions League should go back to how it was in the 70s: a straight knockout with one team from each country.

Dug this one out; another week of phenomenally uninteresting (imo) European football has again seen only one winner - money.

PSG, Juve, Man U, Man City, Barca, Real all posting victories. Kinda makes you wonder why there isn't a Champions Money League, where the same 16 clubs - in an NFL format - just play each other every year. Nice and simple.

On the same night as Premier League clubs gather to battle over switching from having an equal share of overseas TV money to the elite clubs wanting a larger share of it:

Greedy ****ing bastards. I hope they all **** off to a European league and never come back.

Clearly not acceptable at all if true. The best bet if that is the case is to kick all 6 out of the league for being a complete set of greedy ****s. Money is wrecking football. All this sort of thing does is look to ensure PL football continues to be the complete borefest it is now. The rich get richer and the top 6 just swap positions. These ****ers have no interest in the general health of football in this country. This all contributes to the wider problems we have with the national team and so on. But hey if we have a TV product just crack on eh? ****ers..
