I'll remember all of it mate, don't worry about that. Wetherspoons, Virgin, Sports Direct, Rees Mogg, and LFC are all on my list.
Nope. I was in their houses robbing the last of their food out the cupboards. I don’t spit on people.
He’s wrong though isn’t he? There’s an easy win here. Probably blame the PFA more than the players though tbh.
I was wondering what the reaction would be too him speaking out. I understand some of his points but overall it would still make sense for players to be paid less and clubs to cover wages of non playing staff.
You miss the fundamental point that year on year McDonald's pay vastly more into the UK Exchequer than any football club ... payroll taxes and business rates dwarf corporation tax. Happy to help.
The worst part is, that he’s actually a staunch Labour man. He’s just parked his principles when it comes to his football club, because he’s a fully paid up member of the cult.
Just shows how our of touch they are... "Some might be able to afford a 5% cut but not a 30% cut" No premier league footballer is on less than £10,000 per week. So even on that figure, he is claiming that a 30% cut to earning £7000 per week is unaffordable.... FFS ...what a ****
Yeh you say that, but that's the cheap label astro and the like will make at any criticism. Despite the fact we've all said we'd absolutely rinse our own clubs in the same way if they've done (or would do) the same.
