Liverpool are edging closer to completing a deal for Sporting Lisbon teenager Andre Cardoso. According to Portuguese newspaper Jornal Madeira, relayed in an article by Sport Witness, the Reds have made contact with Cardoso and a deal looks ‘almost certain’ to go through. The report goes on to add that the next 48 hours are crucial in regards to Liverpool securing a deal for the player, who is regarded as a future star.
