My mate was a massive Bruce Lee fan so I watched all of his films getting pissed and stoned round at his flat. His films are largely ****e, but the dubbing is funny and the fighting is class. Bruce Lee was on another level
i watch them still, and they are ****ing garbage..but you only watch them for the fights. so again, i say watch ong bak.
forgot to mention stand by me in my list of favourites! everyone one can relate to the film or at least they could before kids stopped going out and getting into bother
Great film. I watch that often, my childhood best mate died a few years back and we always got up to random **** and went on long adventures outdoors together. River Phoenix was cooler than a motherfucker. My mate was Chris Chambers all over.
Phoenix, Sheen, Depp etc all great when younger. Just look at the cast of Platoon, the best film ever made. Every fooker is in that nearly.
sorry to hear that mate and yes I think the film takes even more meaning when you grow older you realise how powerful the message is at the end when chambers disappears … we've all lost friends one way or another and all had a mad as **** day with friends we never went on to spend time with again.
I'm not being funny, but it's a good idea for a fred. I've lost so many mates, i find myself in limbo at times. But i still have my best mate, we went thro school together, joined up within a short space of time. It don't matter if i don't see him for years, we are like blood brothers. but it's a different thread.
like tadpoles mate you all start of being kept together in the environment , but eventually everyone has swims of into the pond and every now and then you might cross paths again or you may never see them ever again.
It's a follow up to the Shining and tells the story of the kid as an adult. Funnily enough I just finished reading the book for the second time last week. Also watch out for The Outsider. An HBO adaption of King's novel and starring Jason Bateman. The series is released in January I think.
