You have some way to go before you reach my standard though. 3 selections in a 14 horse race - 5th, 7th and 8th . Time for me to give up I think
Oh, I'm quite sure I've done worse than that more than a few times, Ron. Must go and look after my magic tea-leaves, they're doing well for me lately! I buy them at a tiny tea shop very near to us. Funny old girl owns it. As it's located in a street of a similar name to the month, I call it "The Teahouse Of The August Moon" (As for the tea I use, and to suit the water in Munich, I drink Taylors of Harrogate Yorkshire Tea (tea bags). Have done for years. Found it to be the best cuppa around for the area I live in)
I'm a Tetleys fan, except we have run out now and have a box of PG Tips, which is fine. Otherwise it's English Tea from our local super market. On a related subject I don't think we have the equivalent of the old English Gold top. I used to have the top (without shaking the bottle) on my Weetabix and the rest for hot drinks. The closest I can get to that is to pour on some double cream and mix it in
I await your review. Not looking until the inspections have passed. Will have a couple for the jumpers bumpers on Sunday though.
You are probably quite right there, Stick. So-called English and Irish Breakfast Teas, are of course, a blend of Assam, Ceylon, and Kenyan teas. Unfortunately, the lady teahouse owner only has Assam loose-leaf tea, and I confess to be too darn lazy to brew tea in a teapot in the traditional way (would be just for me too, as my better-half is a 100% coffee consumer). So, I investigated all known teabags which might be suited to the local water, and I found the Taylors of Harrogate Yorkshire tea the best (as already mentioned above).
