After that I’m asking myself- how have we stayed interested on this forum for the past what, 34/35 races?!

I don’t think RB have even brought upgrades since Silverstone have they? Dread to think what they bring out next season.

It's been a long time since this level of dominance. The saving grace is that there is some interesting things happening behind Max.

I suspect that next season will be similar if not worse.

Bit of a snooze fest. Good drives from Norris and Hamilton, but a real lack of any real excitement / intrigue.

Perez killed the only sniff of real interest on lap one sadly.

If there's any solace, it's that they are getting beaten in qualifying quite a lot recently. I hope the others will at least find enough race pace next year to make themselves difficult to overtake

Danny needs a few more races to prove himself. Plus he is starting to look a bit like Mansell with that moustache.

I would hope everyone has an improved car next season .

Yes I take your point . If RBR have such a dominant car , then it will be hard looking at the front , however ignoring Max and that car there has been quite a lot of good racing behind :)

To me, I seems like Hamilton is slowly finding his mojo again recently. It's been absent for a while, but the last few races it seems like he's starting to enjoy his racing again.

    He`s still got it.hasn`t he?

I was so impressed with that overtake on Charles.
Looking at the onboard shot it looks like anyone else would have hit the brakes bailed out ,but Lewis just kept the boot in and out braked the Ferraii. Fantastic!!

I absolutely loved watching Hamilton race in his GP2 and early F1 career. He was truly fearless and pulled off some stunning overtaking. He's an incredible talent. Sadly with the Merc dominance we rarely got to see his ability for many years barring some scraps with Rosberg, but he is a great racer despite what people say about him. I'm really hoping we're seeing the Hamilton of old re-emerging.

A treat for fans of British drivers yesterday with Hamilton and Norris showing why they are special. They both looked highly motivated!

    Yes I agree .

Maybe it was just me . But the medical team esp seemed to take ages to get to him .

I think that for a combination of things , Lewis lost his keenness , and I think that the arrival of Russel put him off slightly .

I think Lewis has shown he is more than capable of dealing with Russell .

And I feel Russell is now the one struggling within the team , because of that .

I do think Merc should have challenged the result in Abu Dhabi 2021 but Lewis was less keen at the time. I suspect he may regret that. If they had and it was successful the score would be 8 to 2.
Yes, Lewis hated the side podless car but he is happier now.
It will be good, I hope, to see him and Max in machinery that can match the other. Max will be fight rusty by now.
I look forward to next year and hope I am not disappointed. Strangely, not being a fan of Max being focused on the rest of the field has been entertaining. Keen to see how Danny does in Brazil. Mclaren vs Ferrari, what will happen at Aston Martin and to see if the Williams car develops to be a podium car. I hope 4 teams can challenge to win each race, that would be great.
