Yep. Sam Neill is good for horror films. Quite Lovecraft that film is. And on both notes ... In the mouth of madness (1995) . John Carpenters' homage to Lovecraft.
Love a war film me. Can’t think of many I don’t like. Honestly couldn’t say what my all time favourite is. Bought the longest day couple of weeks ago. Love tora tora tora Saving private Ryan is essentially the best. Remember going to watch it at the cinema on a Saturday afternoon. The film made me cry anyway then when the lights came on the place was full of old boys with their medals who were all crying. Probably the most emotional cinema visit ever.
My favourite war film isn’t a film. Band of brothers remains the best tv programme ever made. There is talk of an English version being made.
Get it done lad. Weekend of binge watching the lot. Done that many times. Issue for me is I can’t find the remote for my DVD player. Never use the thing these days. Got 2 box sets of band of brothers incase one gets damaged.
Going to have to dig out band of brothers this week now. Not binge watched it for at least 3 years. Wanted to watch it before I visited Normandy. Went to carentan for breakfast on the Sunday walked past the monument where easy company sat. Also went to dead mans corner.
Definitely my favourite ever. I could just watch it whenever. If it's on any TV channel, I tend to stick it on. Goodfellas is another I do that with. Can watch again and again.
it's got everything, a storyline (bloody good one) action, sadness,, it's defo up there with the best.
I don't know mate.. Iwas glued to Spartacus, watched them all Then moved onto Vikings, after many raved about it what a crock of ****
