We lived during the cold war Ron - this is all just rhetoric and willy waving from two men who should know better. Russia and US are not about to go to war with each other - I'm surprised anyone thinks they will.

 

If the two of them had a brain to share between them they could play an electronic version of Waddington's Risk!

 

I don't think Russia would attack the US Dan (although they might "allow" someone else to) but cyber attacks on the UK don't seem to be off the table. I can't see Putin just turning a blind eye to this to be honest. Something will happen. I don't know what but it will. I don't think a co-ordinated attack of that scale is willy waving but hopefully I'm wrong

 

On your last sentence - no of course it isn't. But I am sceptical about cyber attacks. And if he did start acting like that we probably won't be alone so action will follow. He's a narcissist so any form of exclusion / snub / sanction will hurt him.
