My right to reply on ITTV has been denied. Posts deleted.

That draws a line under my contributions to that forum.
A pity for the members who may have liked my stats based contributions, but there it is.

That information is still available on two other forums though, so folks who like to keep updated on it can still do so.

Just to let everyone know, I'll not be posting anything more on this particular thread either.
Other feel free to do so by all means, as long as contributions remain within bounds of usual forum etiquette

ITTV is best ignored. I haven't looked in there for months, don't intend to. Dick's forum is a good alternative for anyone who likes an alternative discussion.

 

All you have to do is more or less copy what Reams posts , jiggle it about a little and repost it and it doesn’t matter how many different names you’ve had or how many times you’ve been banned for PM’ing or abusive posts you get carte blanche - it’s easy

 

100% accurate:

• Do not veer from the official company line
• Do not call anyone out for being an arse-licker
• Do not try to protect people from being bullied and ridiculed
• And never question the flip flopping that goes on between Charlton, Cardiff and Wrexham, hate this person, love this person, I could do better, never watching a game again, zero interest etc etc etc

I can feel a registration coming on.

 

My conscience has been pricking me since this morning, when I decided to quit ITTV.

It feels a bit wrong to just walk away and leave their stats sub-forum abandoned.
I've done that more than once in the past, and I feel I should not have really.

I know I don't owe them anything, but I think I'll put the question to member there;
Do they want me to continue to update the stats sub-forum or not.

Either way, I'm done posting in the chat forums there, this time permanently. And I do mean it.
But if a majority of members there vote for me to continue to update the season stats, I will carry on doing that.

And if they don't, or if Reams deletes the poll, then I'll delete my membership there for the very last time.

Presently I post the 2021-22 season stats for the men's & women's teams (as I do here), plus historical player profiles from 1921 onwards.
I'll set the poll on ITTV to run until Charlton's next league game - 16th October I believe.
Then I can act with a clear conscience based on what the majority of members there who vote would prefer.

I'll be posting my historical Player Profiles here soon;
A profile page with all the info I could reasonably gather and collate, on every player who has kicked a ball for CAFC since the beginning of the 1921-22 season.
Well over 900 of them by now.
Naturally it's a series that will grow over time...

 

Maybe we should have a poll on whether or not to delete this thread? Dick's forum is all the better for him preventing discussion of that forum. CL likewise. I know I've said this on other occasions.

 

I'm not inclined by nature to close down options for discussion, but I don't run this forum either. I'm just looking after it.
So if folks want to have a vote on whether this thread should be deleted or locked, please have your say.

If a majority would prefer to see it go, I'll delete it.
Or (I have just discovered) I can simply lock it and let it drift away off page 1, if that's what people would prefer.

 

To be fair only IA seemed hell bent on attacking this forum where as Reams and workinglikeants seem to attack Dicks forum , as they like to check in from time to time leave it open for them , there’s no nastiness really
