Grimsby Town boss Paul Hurst hasn’t ruled out making a loan move for Hull City striker Billy Chadwick. PH: “He’s done well, I’m aware of him. Those type of players I think we have to look at.”
Jordy de Wijs has today joined Queens Park Rangers on loan until the end of the season, with a view to make the deal permanent in the summer. The Dutch defender signed for the Tigers from PSV in 2018 and went on to make 76 appearances in black and amber, scoring three goals against Wigan Athletic, Cardiff City and Bristol City. The Club would like to thank Jordy for his efforts and wish him well for the remainder of the 2020/21 season.
Looks a quality signing, not really had a lot of starts for Cardiff, seems to have spent most of his time there warming the bench. Looked decent for Oxford, hopefully he gets game time here.
My neighbour, an Oxford fan, says Gavin Whyte was really good at Oxford, wishes they'd kept him. Assumes something untoward must have gone on with him to be back in L1.
Not the type of person we want at this football club.... we've all been reading about one such person on another thread...
