Just thought I'd stick this up this afters as it seems match day threads are being left a bit late for recent games.

Please chat away and if anyone wants to add some pre-match info - feel free. <ok>

I’d like to think this could be the elusive first away win but in reality I can’t see anything other than a comfortable home win.

Interesting to see whether he’ll go 5 at the back again with Bennett & Peltier man marking their creative midfielders with Hoilett & Harris trying to get forward but doing their defensive duties.

Thanks for putting this up Sparkey, Christmas distracting us from the serious business at hand

Need to get some attacking intent from the outset.
I've got us down us down for 2-2 but we could sneak a win despite two big results for the foxes. After the Lord mayor's show.......
Looking even thinner up front than usual.
Front 3 of Murphy, Reid and NML would make a statement. Can't see Colin going for that, but it would be a handful if we could provide some ammunition.

I think that's the way we've got to go.

OK then - so what do the bookies think about this one...............

Apart from keeping your money in your pocket, anyone got any ideas as to which way to go?

Dai - I would be grateful for your advice once again......<whistle><laugh>

Foxes as favourites, but I wonder whether they'll take their foot off the gas after two big wins.

I'll settle for a point.

No sure how you generate decent odds out of that one other than add a named scorer to a Leicester win.

Might be one to keep your money in your pocket for Sparkey. Double up next time.

Leicester certainly looks the safe bet remote, but there's another way you can stretch the odds out if you're brave..............

Given our form for picking up points from behind foxes-draw maybe the way to go.

A couple stats I've just read:

We've not been ahead at half time in any game this season.

We've only led games for a total of 93 minutes in total this season.

The point at Palace may have been down to "good defending" if you want to put a positive spin on it, but in reality we got out of jail through their poor finishing. On another day we could have lost that 10-0 or maybe 10-1 if their keeper hadn't made that super save from Kadeem.

I don't see today being any different stat wise - they are better than us individually and as a team they can mix it as well. Keeping the back door closed will be the priority, but if we can somehow get the ball in the net this time (and early), anything could happen - even an unlikely first away win.

Media reporting Gunnarsson and Arter are likely to feature. Paterson having a fitness test.

Don’t think Leicester will have too much difficulty today but if we can delay their opening goal it may frustrate them into allowing city to slip in the back door. I know that’s wishful thinking.

The question has to be can we score early enough on the road to put pressure on the home side rather than sitting back and waiting for something to happen? So far we failed to find the net at Bournemouth, Huddersfield, Spurs, Everton and Palace, getting our only 2 points from scoreless draws.

We can do it as at Chelsea and Liverpool, but scoring against those sort of sides were merely consolation goals because of the sheer quality they have. There are plenty of average mid table sides where an early goal will cause them isues.

The goals at Watford came too late to change the game but it was clear it took them out of their comfort zone. They were allowed to swarm all over us with no fear at the back for most of the game. We must have a go not just park the bus and wait.

OK guys, had a look and am going to repeat the exact same mix as for Palace with slightly better odds offered as for that game. So it's.......

£20 on a City win or draw double chance @ 8/5 to return £52 (or nothing)
£10 on a City win @ 7/1 to return £80 (or nothing)
£10 on Camarasa to score any time @ 6/1 to return £70 (or nothing)
£5 on Morrison to score any time @ 14/1 to return £75 (or nothing)
£5 on Bamba to score any time @ 14/1 to return £75 (or nothing)

That's another 50 quid on - let's see what comes back (if anything). <ok>

Why is Cunningham at LB instead of Bennett? I thought Bennett had a decent game at Palace.

Just hope it's not another 4-5-1 with Pato hung out to dry on his own again.

Chelsea goal put us one up and Liverpool goal got it back to 2-1; we were in both those games theoretically into the final quarter until the home team put on the booster.
