New Manager Thread

One day it is likely to be true, why not now...

 

Apparently Liverpool want us as a feeder club. Actually, there's no apparently about it.

 

Before Wupert Lowlife came along, I was told that Richard Branson had been looking at investing into the club.
The guy explained that Branson used to watch Saints with his Grandfather as a very young boy and was looking to get his (now failed) brand of Cola some advertising by sponsoring the club and a new stadium.
The guy that told me was well known in the Winstone pub for his gossip about Saints and he seemed to be very connected at the time, any players that came in always chatted with him and usually his info turned out correct.

Me, putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 5 again.

Did you hear about the constipated mathematician?, well he worked it out with a pencil and paper.

 

In truth Tss I have to admit, joking aside, that it is only recent that I have used the computer to ask various questions. Now that I have changed systems I e from Microsoft to Apple. Must admit that since using the Apple products I have learned a lot more. Or maybe because it is a different system that made me to look into things more whatever.

I agree, you take more things in, in a new environment. The same happened to me...when I went from Apple to PC.

 

Yep, new environment, new curiosity. Yesterday I finally got a relative's PC onto Windows 10. Keep getting Cooee, this is good style texts from him now.

 

Must admit we must be a good project for someone to make a few bob. Especially over the last couple of seasons on the sales side.
Wouldn't mind someone buying us who wouldn't mind spending a few bob rather than taking it from the club.

We really would, I reckon £150m would be the kind of figure that we'd go for. It would be a nice return for Katharina and a bargain for any investor. As nice as it is to grow organically, I fear with the money involved in the Premier League now that we're at risk of being overtaken by a lot of clubs.

I notice that some on Saintsweb still believe that it may be someone other than Puel. I think that would have been picked up on by the media if someone else was still in consideration.

 

Whilst that Martin Samuel article was hardly positive, I'd still say it wasn't as negative as his short piece about us on Monday. He was suggesting that bringing Redmond in on the cheap to replace Mane, particularly whilst we're without a manager and such a new man might ultimately decide that Redmond isn't for him, was the start of our downward spiral.

 

If Martin Samuel went on a downward spiral, he'd be bloody hard to stop. Serious momentum there...
