Yes, the point i was making that the figures of 40k plus people have not died just from covid

 

I recognise that there is a virus. I recognise the need to help keep hospital beds as empty as possible.

My main gripe is the scaremongering. The press and the government are trying to scare people in to staying in and not doing anything at all.

Latest headline today was 'new variant raises R rate by 0.7!' That's pure bullshit!

The first lock down was much more strict than this and we never got the R rate down below 0.5. Yet the R rate is now somewhere between 0.8 and 1.1 as reported earlier this week. That means that this lock down would have had the old variant down at minimal levels. Yet the stronger, most adhered to, lockdown never got below 0.5. The numbers don't add up somewhere.

I partially agree with Olof that none of the figures actually add up when you look at it all. There's just alot of fake news in order to scare the population in to lock down.

 

Yes I know that but what we don't know is how longer they could have lived if they didn't catch it, it could have been days, it could have been years.
