    Looking like we've we've found our Bertrand replacement. Don't know a huge amount about him but Newcastle and Leeds were also interested. Obviously Diallo had a word on our behalf. :)

    Looks an interesting player! Productive in the final third, quick and energetic, vocal apparently too (not in our back line though surely.) Not the tallest but we can get Salisu to give him a piggy back I’m sure.

    If this goes through, it’s good work to get this important business done early in the window. We can look forward next season to the novelty of seeing the left back position filled by a left back!

    Numbers look good. Seems to be on a par with Bertrand defensively but a significant improvement in offensive contributions. In the EPL he won’t have an easy ride but some more attacking intent would be welcome from the LB position.

    I also recall the days when our LB was filled with our RB, or CB I think, and our LW, when we had a good LB on the bench.

    “Brest and Southampton are in advanced negotiations for Romain Perraud as announced by L'Equipe but no agreement between the two clubs yet. Another team, whose name has not been filtered, is also in discussions with Brest for a transfer of more than 10M euros“
