Thank you! Will adjust, but that makes me even more confident.

Lavia for one. I think they have got the right idea with the policy of signing young players. After all Dortmund have gone it with great success. Maybe they went too far with it and didn't sign enough proven players but I certainly think they've got the right vision for the club. Just don't give Ankersen sole responsibility for picking a manager ever again!

I agree with your outs, but think there will be a fair few more from the “keep” pile who go. Not necessarily players we would be overly fussed about losing, but ones we let go relatively cheaply who would probably want to move on and play abroad rather than in the Champ. I’m thinks of players like Bednarek, Lyanco and Djenepo, also have a feeling that S Armstrong will leave this summer as well regardless of league.

Anyway way too early to know what the team will look like for next year, we need a clear out, that much is obvious

Oh undoubtedly there will. And I'm not overly worried if it's the ones you mention.

If we manage to keep the core of our young players, then long-term SRs botched strategy might work out. They just went too big, too early with it.

If we had a front three of Tella Adams Edozie in the Championship, it's probably going to be the best front three in the league.

When I was thinking about this a little while ago I came to the conclusion that the only players I would be disappointed to lose would be Lavia, ABK and KWP.

Lavia and ABK because I think they will have great careers at the top level and KWP because he’s just a very good player. In all likelihood Lavia and ABK would only be here for another season anyway if we survive

Everyone else is varying degrees of “meh” in terms of staying or going. I’d like to keep the younger players who look to have a bit about them, but all the more seasoned players can **** off as far as I’m concerned

I don't see the likes of Adams, Bednarek, Stu staying either tbh. but meh, cross that bridge when we come to it.

Yes and no. I think we need some of those more seasoned players to balance things out in the Championship. Players like Bednarek, Stephens and Lyanco are the most Championship of Championship players. I think it would be wise to make steps to retain players like that (or at least the first two), and though it might get us pelters from the more Twittery of the fanbase, I think Beddy would be a good captain at that level too.

Oh we would absolutely need seasoned players, I’m just saying I don’t give a **** if any of the current ones left such is how **** they’ve pretty much all been for the last year. They won’t all go and I’m sure they could do a job in the Championship, just not fussed who of the current crop that is

Just noticed that Paul Pogba is the highest paid player in Serie A, and he's played 38 minutes this season for Juventus. That makes me feel marginally better about our recruitment!

If we need seasoning, it would be a great shame to lose Ketchup.

Maybe we could get Pepe on loan.

Looking at that long list of names, if / when we we go down, we can offer Premier teams a "buy two get one free deal", that could help us get replacements for the Promotion drive.

Salisu to West Ham made me chuckle. Just the sort of not quite right signing they would make.

Can’t see where any of those three are going tbh. All three could thrive in the Championship, and continue struggle in the PL. Che would benefit hugely from a season down there.

Or we could continue it on a Tottenham thread?

Oh we are absolutely not out of it yet. But I personally can't see us being better than 3 teams from the position we are currently in. Our run of games is tougher than anyone else's.

But to expect wins against solid mid table sides makes zero sense.

Losing to Wolves and Forest at home is the reason we will be relegated this season.
