So Farnborough are launching a women's team. Soon Hampshire's finest team will also be Hampshire's finest women's team

Portsmouth women are going part time, so watch out Southampton. A double promotion next season then we can do the quadruple over you.
I think we are too. The only team to take points off us so far this season lost and i think we're on top by goal difference. I say I think because the coverage below championship level is rubbish therefore who knows what the tables actually look like Of course if you win your league, you'll get promoted. We may not.
Turns out Portsmouth are third, by virtue of playing one less game than the teams in second and first.
Thanks, we'll need it. Good luck to you too. Though it would be good if we get promoted and you don't to bring back the south coast derby, especially as we're taking the women's team way more seriously now than in the past. Could be exciting!
Wow that website has certainly been improved since the last time I was there. Even still, outside of this grassroots fa website, there's little coverage of women's football outside the championship in the media. Concerned about hashtag united, they were on a winning streak until they lost to mk dons last week and they beat us. I don't mind not winning the league but I do mind losing it to the most cringe team name in football
While I am delighted that Saints Women won this weekend, I feel I should lodge my disgust with their game plan. FFS they were 2-1 up at half time and then played out the rest of the game in relative cpmfort as I understand it. This is NOT the Southampton way. 2-1 up at half time should precede running around like headless chickens, falling over the ball and conceding two late goals. Can someone have a word, please? Alternatively, could their coaches share the secret?
23rd November, 6.30 ko v Arsenal in Continental Cup https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/news/article/continental-cup-arsenal-women-are-coming-to-st-marys
At Portsmouth women away to rugby as they're just down the road, shame the stadium is right on the edge of the town but hey I got my steps in. Have you been to any Southampton women's games recently?
So you will be thrilled to hear that Portsmouth won in a hard fought 1-0 victory. It was quite nerve wracking at the end, a mixture of ten minutes extra time plus no way of knowing how much stoppage time had been awarded made for some tense moments, and it didn't help that while they had a clock (one showing the actual time, not the length of time in the match), I didn't see what time the second half kicked off at so I didn't even know when 90 minutes was over. Cool thing though was that the players had their names on their shirts which certainly wasn't the case the last time I went to a Portsmouth women's game, even rugby did which was kinda surprising. A few Portsmouth fans there but they were probably mostly related to the players. Unfortunately cringetag United also won so we're still second. Who knows, it might come down to our rematch against them. But early days yet and I'm hoping rugby can take some points off them. And I'm worried about mk Dons as they beat cringetag so they must be pretty decent
