I can't see it unless its a loan, if hes being sold as a fringe player at Man U, there will surely be bigger sides interested. Would prefer to stick with Tielemans, i know it would probably cost us double, but we already know what hes capable of and is fitting in very well, would also likely see us get rid of Silva going the other way. Lets hope this is a good sign: https://www.skysports.com/football/...n-rodgers-style-of-football-at-leicester-city
https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/...er-news/leicester-citys-36-first-team-2663612 Hard to argue with any of that
Here is a list of players who is out of contract in the summer Danny Welbeck David Luiz Gary Cahill Oliver Giroud Leighton Baines Phil Jagielka Daniel Sturridge Alberto Moreno Vincent Kompany Juan Mata Andreas Periera Ander Herrera Antonio Valencia Mo Diame Fernando Llorente Andy Carroll Pablo Zabaleta Adrian I wouldnt mind Danny Welbeck and Andreas Periera. No doubt we will get linked with Sturridge due to Rodgers. Wouldnt touch Andy Carroll though
Herrera stands out (in his prime and not injury prone). Probably sign a new contract or look for another club in Europe though
Reason I didnt name him as he is in talks with Man U and I think he will stay there. If not go to a top club in Spain
Yes as I thought. I’ve rated Llorente since he was part of that Bilbao side (along with Herrera) that took Man Utd part years ago. Probably a bit old now but not filled his ability at Spurs. Moreno is a solid LB
We are not a top side. If someone of his experience would come as competition/back up then that is not below us and not to be sniffed at
He was a complete liability for Liverpool. He isnt going to all of a sudden become decent for us. They played Milner at left back just so they didnt have to play him
Danny Welbeck - would take him as long as it didn’t break the bank as I actually think we’d be a good fit - a similar style to Vardy David Luiz - yes but no chance Gary Cahill - not with Morgan’s new deal Oliver Giroud - Would love it but can’t see it Leighton Baines - will probably stay at Everton or retire. If not, would have to replace Fuchs Phil Jagielka - yes Daniel Sturridge - in a heartbeat. Won’t happen. Alberto Moreno - as back up to Chilwel Vincent Kompany - no chance Juan Mata - no chance Andreas Periera - yes Ander Herrera - no chance Antonio Valencia - yes but won’t happen Mo Diame - no Fernando Llorente - yes but no chance Andy Carroll - personally would love. Will go to a big club I think Pablo Zabaleta - no Adrian - pointless
Would just be interesting to know what your expectations are for a back up in that position. Elder? FYI I’d love Milner as he is a versatile and professional player
Couldnt comment on Elder as ive never seen him play but dont hold much hope as he is 23 and cant get a game at Ipswich. Dont have a name to put forward be I would like someone similar to Fuchs. Offers something different to Chilwell and an older head to help Chilwell. Dont need to break the bank on a back up left back but again want someone who can rival Chilwell. That is not Moreno
Youri Tielemanshas scored for Belgium. Probably a few more interested clubs and a few more quid on the price tag. This is why we needed to get an option to buy on the loan deal
Doubt he would have joined us if we had an option - Monaco want to squeeze every penny so would want a bidding war. There are a lot of rumours that Kasper will leave in the summer but there is nothing about who to and for how much as he is still under contract.
On a free transfer I think nearly all big clubs would take a punt - a plan B and the best attacking headerer of a ball in world football when fit I think...
What on earth is he doing scoring for Belgium?????!!!! Stay under the f***ing radar until we sign you!
