Changed that to Two Test Matches for you

I feel the long format of the game is losing its appeal just because its so ****ing long.

T20 and One day (and the new 100 ball) will keep the game going as they have exciting finishes

Apparently the ‘6’ should have been a 5 as the throw cake in before the players crossed. England winning a World Cup on a controversial decision... where have I heard that one

I'll file that right underneath Alan Green's "And this final is over" at 2-0 in 2005.

If it had been a different decision, the rest of the game would've been different, as determined by chaos theory, so NZ might've won or England might've won without the need for the superover. "It wasn't actually a penalty, therefore the losing team won" is Scottish logic. And the Jocks were left crying into their Irn Bru again.

Funny you should mention the sweaties, MFG. I was born and bred in Liverpool and love LFC. However, cricket is the game I was very good at and consequently, I've always loved it more than football and on a par with LFC. My Dad played for Liverpool CC at Sefton Park. Sitting through that yesterday was harder than sitting through the penalty shoot-out in 2005! I thought I was going to kiff it <laugh>

I had an interview this afternoon and called in at the Cheese on the way home. There were several reprobates sat outside, and I aske d couple of them if a couple of them if they'd seen the cricket. The resident sweaty spouted up and said the England team were all foreign and it was a ****ing draw anyway. I just told him to ****ing google it <laugh>

Good job we batted first so we aren’t out all day in the field during 37 degree heat.

Who's been preparing Lords wicket's, clearly someone who hates batting.

Second match in a row where its favoured the bowlers and low scores.

Ireland's 100 run lead sounds good, that is until you hear that England only scored 85. Likely neither team will get over 200 (maybe just over), which is weak in test match.
