Were you going to turn the landmark piece of architecture into flats mate?

Change of use might have been an issue like

Gaol in English. Jail is the American spelling. Jail is more common now, but even when I went to school it was more correctly Gaol. Too many bloody Westerns.

Not with Cornish Bob's contacts on the council and HIAG's huge wealth, negotiating skills and secretarial expertise.

  5. Neither did you, Pastie. Don't try and make out that you did.

I've already told you. I'm from Lewisham. If you're going to spin a story you need to keep up with the facts :)

So which town does your builder come form ? And have you worked out what the name of that 'failed' nightclub that's still going strong today is called ?

  8. That explains why you had to Google Bodmin Gaol, when I had you on the ropes, last night.

  11. I have been expertly planning for weeks. I knew Stan and Pixie were dead certs, but I was surprised that I snared Tobes, too.

That's the danger in my wit, see. Sometimes, quite inadvertently, I hit the ragged remnants of a fragile and damaged psyche, and that can get messy, as it did with Tobes. I hope he's okay.

Is the late night hysterical ranting as to why people are quizzing you all part of the masterplan?

That's because it's called Bodmin jail. You must be very dense not to have understood that by now. :) Your version of 'on the ropes' had you bullshiting about buying a 'failed' club which is still going strong today and bottling telling me where your Cornish builder is from, presumably because like your Bodmin **** up, you knew I'd pull he rug out on that BS too.

  17. I don't know. I made it up. I thought there might be a boat.

Is that the usual HIAG white flag being raised there?

    The 'master wummery' card?

"It was all a wind up lads - honest, aren't I brilliant for making myself look a prize turnip by talking out of my arse"

I suppose you hypnotised me with some form of Jedi mind trick into bringing up the entire subject. What a master class......

Post the Picard mate, you're done.

And bang on cue, here's HIAG, battered and bruised but still coming back for more!

To be fair I credited you for giving the character of the builder a bit of depth by making him Cornish. However, I suspect you started sweating again when you found out Piskie lives in Cornwall as it meant you'd have to evade yet more details!
