Does it matter? At present all seems to be going in the right direction and there is plenty of evidence of money being spent to improve SAFC. You only have to watch a live feed from a home game to see some of it.
Why? After all, what are you going to do about it if you're not happy with things - campaign for Donald to refund KLD and take control of the club again?
As I understand it the delay is on the Madrox side of things their accountant has not yet filed the required documents / changes but i understand they have a history of filing on the last possible date so we just have to wait and see
KLD has the controlling share. That is all that matters. Whether he owns 50.1% or 100% is irrelevant. The other shareholders have no say over the running of the club. Their only obligation is to match any investment made by KLD, or choose to have their shares diluted.
All sorts of issues under FCA in regulating credit/debits payments and consumer rights. I think that was one of the reasons you can't have monthly DD for season tickets so doubt they would move to so people can order a pint of carling
Without being obtuse it's none of our business ... ... leave all that to the Toon Army of amateur solicitors and accountants. We've had two years of that shyte.
Curiosity mainly, but it is important for fans to know about the ownership of the club. As has been pointed out it looks like a case of wait and see once filings update on CH.
Seriously is it though? As long as the club is moving in the right direction, why is the ownershup structure important?
A good owner should be seen and not heard. Especially whilst results are going well. Start making enquiries when things start going tits up.
It's lovely to not give a monkeys about our financial situation for a change, and to be able to mostly enjoy the football.
We do know, it's owned by the chairman and there are other minority shareholders ... ... until that changes that's all we need to know. It reminds me of the couple on their 50th wedding anniversary. "Do you know you've only ever told me you love me once, on our wedding day." "Quite right dear, if that situation ever changes you'll be the first to be informed."
"It's lovely to not give a monkeys about our financial situation for a change, and to be able to mostly enjoy the football" Except when someone tries to shove a spanner in the works by asking ludicrous questions about something that doesn't really concern us and 99.9% of the fans don't give a toss about, in an attempt to derail our enjoyment of the ride that we're on at the moment, of course
The absolute detail will emerge. But it is not difficult to infer that KLD has complete control. His interview should tell anyone that. He stated HIS intentions, calmly and without any tub thumping . He also pointedly referred to the previous owners as asset strippers. This is a grievous charge to make in public, and anyone who was sure they could defend themselves from it would have done so immediately. They didn't because the couldn't. KLD is in control, and that's it.
