    You make a good point Norfolk, and I’m sorry if my response wasn’t good enough for you. I don’t intend to take this any further as Godders has a history of sledgehammer posts trying to upset as many as possible, but staying just on the legal side of the line. Your best response would be to laugh it off as the risible nonsense it was. And all of you who posted those gifs were lucky I was in a good mood!

    Agreed. If we keep gabbi we need to find a way to fit him into the side on a regular basis with players that get the best from him. He is wasted on the bench but also wasted on the pitch if we dont play to his strengths a bit more

    You can argue that he stated that you only voted for Brexit if you were racist bigoted and idiotic. When I first read it i thought he meant that or on second read, you could argue that he meant a subset of those who voted for Brexit are racist, bigoted and idiotic in which case he is probably correct. The linkage to wrestling I didn’t get at all though

    I'm not sure if this was posted in amongst all the other stuff but according to Sky, Crystal Palace are interested in Danny Ings. Palace will have to meet Liverpool’s £26m valuation!

    Everyone mentions the amount of money that Liverpool give to us. But no-one really mentions that they duly recoup half of it back from Palace.

    Benteke for circa £30m. Sakho for circa £28m. And now this Ings rumour. (I think they also competed with Stoke to sign Allen from Liverpool.)

    Just watch Palace sign Shaqiri next summer for £40m. (I still maintain that one of the biggest reasons for Liverpool signing him, is because they know they can make a nice profit on him next summer.)

    Like Ricky Lambert before him, Jamie Vardy only got his opportunity in the PL because he acheived promotion from League 1 with his club. I'm sure there are plenty of talented individuals in the lower leagues who will never get their chance, while PL clubs will continue to splash millions on often equally unproven foreign imports
