Watford’s Rey Manaj has emerged as a target for Getafe in the winter market, according to claims from Spain. The Championship side signed the striker from Barcelona in the summer transfer window and he’s made five appearances for the club. Since the 25-year-old’s last outing against Queens Park Rangers on August 27th, he hasn’t featured for Watford. Rob Edwards was shown the exit door at Vicarage Road in September and replaced by Slaven Bilic the same month. The latter has not included the Albania international in his plans at Watford. Fichajes.net explain Manaj’s situation at Watford has seen Getafe identify him as a target. The La Liga side’s poor start to the season (they’re three points above the relegation zone) has seen them look for reinforcements in January. Quique Sánchez Flores has identified the need to bring in an attacker in January and the name that ‘stands above the rest’ is that of the former Barca man. Getafe see him as a ‘very interesting market opportunity’ from a sporting point of view. It’s claimed the Spanish club would ‘negotiate’ a loan deal with Watford for the frontman.
I don't know how severe his was but a grade 3 hamstring sprain can take three months to heal - which fits the timeframe.

Udinese increased their offer five times and Fluminense finally accepted a bid of 9 million Euros (between 8 and 9 million Euros according to the Brazilian source) for 90% of the player's economic rights, although the amount to be paid in each installment still has to be finalized. Matheus Martins will join Udinese in January 2023. The Udinese blog makes no mention of Watford, but the Brazilian source states that he will be initially loaned to Watford. A highly regarded 19 year old player, who has already represented Brazil at U-20 level (unlike João Pedro).
