Was going to mention that, looked a lot more composed and happy with the game.

Yeh it was Palace but he looked like he had a different mindset tonight.

He was always looking for the ball, comfortable in possession, knew his next pass and just played with confidence.

Hopefully he plays again against Palace on Saturday, has a similar game builds a bit more of that confidence.

Amrabat on starting the game at LB "I told the manager I play where you need me."

    Meanwhile Sancho, "I'm a scapegoat <wah>"

I thought he spoke really well and with a fair degree of intelligence for a footballer.

"Since I was a child I worked for this. It’s amazing to play here."

    Give me that.

I wish him all the best.

It was hardly a competitive match. Palace clearly has no interest or motivation to win. We were strolling from the first second to the last and the outcome was never in doubt.

I just hope that Roy hasn’t tricked TenHag into a sense of complacency for the coming league match. Completely different ball game with their key players coming back.

What are the chances of playing a team in the league right after a cup game? That sht always freaks me out. The odds of it happening must be huge but it happens every season.

I don't think it matters, it was about how we approached the game. Burnley are ****. They were more open than Palace yet we chose to pass it around in our own half. Palace were at least more compact and more organised but we chose to pass and play the ball forward. Had we done the same against Burnley we would've scored more and put in an equally good performance.

It's about us, and always should be about us. Not the opposition.

But what about the lineup today? Certainly much better than Saturday’s. I’m actually glad that Mount and Maguire are back.

Amrabat looked comfortable wherever he played last night, he's a decent player there's no doubt. Him and Casemiro in the McFred role, what an upgrade that is.

Hopefully Reguillon fit for Satuday so that can actually happen.

Maguire is always fine alongside Varane, it's when he's with Lindelof that it's a shambles, I figure he always felt he was covering for Lindeflof. Conversely, Lindelof plays well with Martinez. Or at leats better.

Anyway, it'll be the pair that is fit for Satuday so, if that's Maguire and Varane it'll be fine.

    The three behind the striker (for me) are;

Garnacho (it'll be Rashford!) Fernandes Mount

    Hojlund up front.

    Onwards and upwards.

Antony back in Britain now as well.

Let's see if the 5 0 can find anything to charge him with. My money is they won't, as its been made up.

If the allegations were made in Brazil and police over there have said he can travel to the UK, why are they asking him for his phone in Manchester? Who has asked them to launch their own investigations?

Because some allegations allegedly occured while in Manchester.

The one where the United medical staff visited and allegedly treated the woman. Which has been denied of course, more than likely because it didn't actually happen. Allegedly.
