For your chosen goalscorer, points are awarded as follows:-first goal in the game - 2 points, any subsequent goal - 1 point. If any of the teams that you (or your opponent) select do not play for any reason then 1 point will be awarded. You are head-to-head with your opponent so the player scoring the most points advances to the next round. In the event of a tie the player with the most 'goalscorer' points will advance to the next round. If this is still a tie, then the points for Team 1 will decide the winner. If still a tie, then 'Team 2' points will be checked, then 'Team 3' and then 'Team 4'. If it is still a tie after all that then a fight to the death will decide the winner (or maybe a coin toss ). CUP RESULTS ------------------- (16) jacksk1 v fran-MLs little camera (5) 14-10 (11) tomw24 v SaintStu (2) 12-9
We have joint winners this week, @ChilcoSaint, @thereisonlyoneno7 and @OddRiverOakWizards all with 15 points ChilcoSaint, SaintStu and OddRiverOakWizards all picked up correct score bonus points this week. Chilco had Saints 3-1 win and Arsenal's 2-1 win and both SaintStu and OddRiver had Arsenal's win and Man City's 2-0. fran and thereisonlyoneno7 were unlucky not to pick up bonus points as they had 5 out of 6 correct results. For the goalscorers there were no home scorers and only Ings and Sterling for the away scorers so only Le Tissier's Laces, fran, jacksk1 and thereisonlyoneno7 picked up points. The best bonus game this week was Watford-Saints with 4 goals and only thereisonlyoneno7 selected that. In the monthly table for March/June I am the winner so congrats to me In the overall table for the season @OddRiverOakWizards leads the way and there are now only 4 weekends left of the season for the rest of us to make up ground.
