What gives you cause to say that?
I think it's clear you don't know whose idea it was.

Whose idea was this seat move?
What gives you cause to say that?

Get a little bit tired if reading endless cynicism on this board. People obsessed with negativity, controversy and conspiracy theories. Always suspicious and always playing devils advocate.
This move of the away fans has been discussed for years and years. Before the Allams and before Bruce. It is to keep inline with many many other clubs who put the away supporters in not so great positions as to stop them making their own intimidating atmosphere in an away ground.
Move on. It's necessary . If it doesn't work then they can change it back.
I do make a decent brew.
Even if I say so myself.

Not one answer to this one.
Whose idea was it?
Originally Adam Pearson's.
Why is it happening now?
Because Nick Thompson got on the SAG and got round the issues that had prevented the previous two chairman from sorting it. In addition, Steve Bruce wanted it, so it was given a higher priority.
Will it work?
We'll find out next season.
With practice, you'll progress to making more than the one.
I expected this to be a simple question, but it seems to be making people uncomfortable.
Whose idea was this seat move?
Doesn't really answer it. I doubt Steve Bruce initiated anything, he may have been asked about fans behind the goal. Nick Thompson's long gone and AP rejected it in the end.
Still curious as to Whose idea was this seat move?
It's curious that the current owners who seem very keen on controlling the club in all aspects are entirely absent from the blurb sent out. Odd also that SB should be troubling himself with these issues with Wembley on his mind.
Hmmmmm.

It did answer it, you're just ignoring the answer because you want to carry on being pissed off about having to move.
Adam never gave up on it, he wanted the away fans moved until they he left and Steve Bruce definitely wants City fans behind the goal, regardless of whether he instigated it or not. It's also not true to say there was no consultation, it was discussed at fan forums with the last two chairmen and Nick Thompson advised us at the FLAG meetings that he was making it a priority.

Mel's poncing the credit for it but we all know it was me.
I sent an anonymous letter made up from newspaper cuttings like kidnappers do saying it would piss Dutch off.
I knew they'd go for it on that basis alone.
One lump or two?

People can say it's been in the offing for a while however much they want, but the fact is that it's been a sudden demand from the club this week that we move, and that we also pay at the very least a deposit within SEVEN DAYS to guarantee a seat of our choosing.
That's a ****'s trick.
No consultation as in 'totally insufficient time to organise a move into a new area and ensuring all parties have had time to co-ordinate it successfully'![]()
