Oh right didn't know it had been on. Why? Is it one of those iriitatng shows that repeated everything it says after every ad break? Drives me mad that.
Basically yeh. Over dramatic, lacking in depth & got on my tits. Watch it though, the good lady says I’m just a miserable **** who picks fault with anything. Edit: I think it was the “local journalist” & the soft bint driving the car everywhere but nowhere that did the damage.
Always thought there was some cover up about young Christopher. He'd been pimped out from a Young age. Think they were worried who was using him.
I didn’t know the back story of the young lad’s murder or the later one but we both passed comment on how strange it appeared that the bloke who killed him had got away with it.
Aye hardly a stretch was it. The house he was staying in, the brother inlaw who left him and a 15 month old alone got convicted of sexually abusing girls years later. Mum was a prostitute. Christopher was getting pimped out in Debenhams toilets. Mad as it sounds that stuff was going on sort of openly back then in other shop toilets too.
I was stood next to his grave recently. I was at a relatives burial and didn’t know it was there until I turned round and noticed it Still caught my breath to be honest. Poor little lad
Yeah just watched it, she was most ****ing annoying, and I've never heard of that 'local journalist'.
Deserves condemnation just for the closing " Unfortunately in a murdertown you never know when a killer will strike next". Who writes this stuff?
Two good 'uns on tonight on A.I. BBC4 @ 9:00 and 10:00 p.m. (Tues). 2001 ( A Space Oddity) squared. Edit: Make it 4 hours in a row on A.I. tonight on BBC4. Big Brother's watching
Slight change of tack here...BBC1*** @ 9:00 p.m. "Black Earth Rising"... New drama First episode. So far, it's brilliant. Intense & deep. Disturbing. All the elements present: Interpersonal relationships, international co-operation/lack of co-operation, politics, tragedy, pathos, family conflicts, misunderstandings. Arrogance. If it carries on like this for 8 episodes it'll get awards aplenty. *** Correction: BBC2
Last night James Fox narrated Oceans Apart a 3 part series on art and the Pacific. Last night was about Australian art and specifically Aboriginal art. There was a hidden reference to Hull. One of the artists uses Reckitt's blue as paint. If you missed it you can watch it on iplayer.
"The Silent War". Repeat of the 2013 4 part documentary. Episode 1 was tonight (Tues) on BBC4. History buffs who've not watched before may well enjoy. About the submarine "cold war". Fascinating stuff. Edit; A couple of hours later - same channel - "War at Sea: Scotlands Story - Episode 1. Dreadnaughts of Scapa Flow" . Good stuff.
Acrophobia sufferers ? Need a cure ? Maybe shouldn't watch "Mountain" on Beeb 4 @ midnight tonight (Monday). Unbelievable camera work following a number of maniacs. Have a beer & take the dog for a walk instead.
NOT BBC4 TV but BBC Radio 4, Sunday night, 8pm a bit about the Cod Wars, it was recorded in Rayners earlier on this year I believe.
Love him or hate him, Jeremy ("Marmite") Paxman's 2012 series "Empire" is being repeated on BBC4. 1st episode was on tonight(Wed). Definitely worth watching .
