Came in like a lion went out like a lamb. What the **** happened to him? Great athlete, great fighting spirit, great 1st season then it all went pear-shaped. Shame really, he had the potential to be next Captain of the club.
Yea, strange how his performance levels dipped Dev but I think he was one of those 'confidence' players and Deila would have dented that in any player - in fact Deila's total lack of man management (as well as his other failings) could be plainly seen throughout the team in his final season. I also think the Johansen we saw in his first season could have returned under Rodgers (just look at James Forrest at the moment - another player who needs his confidence levels kept boosted by a good man manager) but he (Johansen) looked surplus to requirements and in order to bring in a fresh (and hopefully better) standard of player, we need to shed a couple at least, so Johansen seemed an obvious one to go. I believe and hope, however, that he'll do well at Fulham. By some accounts, we got £2m for Johansen - nice bit of business there if that figure is accurate!
Aye, £2m is okay, frees up a wage and we get back what we paid for him. I hope he is a success at Fulham, if he does well there he'll end up in the EPL.
Andre Wisdom, 23 year old 'Liverpool' defender tipped as Rodgers transfer target. http://liverpooloffside.sbnation.co...isdom-brendan-rodgers-celtic-champions-league
Be a good signing and would push lustig and janko ... Think he can play RB and CB... Good option. Hearing McCarthy on loan as well .

That's the deal done. We're still short a forward and a central midfielder. A good few to ship out too.
Simonovic off to Torino ... Surprised as he not started but maybe he's decided for a fresh start due to injuries etc
He looked good in the time he was not injured but it's hard to judge how good, so really he's no loss at all.
Mind the Croatian press said he was **** when we signed him...did seem a bit of a panic buy...hasn't kicked a ball anyway Goodluck
That kind of fell flat in the end ... Ambrose and simonovic deals fell through , which probably put a stop to any deals as no room for wages . However, what we have in squad depth means we have plenty to win the league . We probably won't do much in our Cl group , but one more signing wasn't going to make much difference . So, without freeing up wages , no way was it happening
I'm not worried about the league But Brown and Bitton playing 40 games together, 6vs the best teams in Europe... We were outclassed in Israel with our midfield Only complaint really...overall it's been a good window for us
Totally agree but I hope to see more variation in league meaning we can rotate a bit more now we've made it to CL... Keeping brown n Biton etc fresher for big games . 1 new cm would only marginally affect the pumping well' get in Cl ... But at least with new rb we have an outlet for getting up park quickly !!! <themidbrownagathe>
