A little bit of interesting news read on pasoti this evening is about Sam Gallagher who we had pinched off us when he was a 17 year old development player. Story is that Aston Villa are interested in him at a £7m price tag. If he does go for that sort of money we are apparently in for a 20% sell on bonus. That's some chunk of cash if it ends up being true. Now the way things seem to go for Argyle with these sell on things we probably would end up with a pair of socks and shorts but if true about the sell on clause then any percentage of anything would be welcome.

I think that you will find that the figures being bandied about in another place are wildly inaccurate!:emoticon-0125-mmm:

I haven't a clue on such things so can only go on what I read. If you have more accurate figures then please enlighten us lesser knowledgeable mortals. As is usual with Argyle we will end up with one and four pence if we're lucky. Never let it be said there is "real money" available for anything.

So it must be the heat. Football is the world's most popular game, to which we are all addicted to. So why not keep changing the rules? I believe David Ellerary, the ex referee is responsible for this, He's English and should know better.

Lots of talk that Carey has gone.....but no facts at the moment.....officially he is still employed by PAFC until the end of the month.

Derek Adams is a realist.....he surely been tracking possible replacements for the day this happened.

Interesting that the Scottish Premierships top scorer last year...Liam Boyce of Ross County has transferred to the mighty Burton Albion strugglers of the Championship last season.....

Now the Carey has left thread is in doubt. I'm beginning to get fed up with this bleddy saga.

The teams in Scotland cannot pay what english league clubs can unless they are one of the two odd ones out. It also puts them in a better window for moving on up if they do well.

Before anyone gets too excited by the above post it was 3 from the kids set up signing their first professional contracts. Whilst I'm not going to decry the fact we've signed them and it is probably for the good it's good to see you getting into the Argyle spirit of building up small info lyndhurst.

It is still 3 professional footballers who have come through the Academy and been deemed good enough to be offered professional terms, Surely it is a good thing to celebrate that a) we have developed them and b) we have kept hold of them. We could have just ignored that the squad has increased by 3 but no doubt that would have also attracted criticism. Think you will find that there is plenty of bigger news coming out of HP in the next days /weeks but surely it is good to celebrate their (relative) success.
