Is there a case for us to look at going with 3-5-2 to fit in the players we have available at the moment? Hernandez is wasted up top on his own, maybe be better to have Mbokani and Hernandez playing alongside each other. Midfield, we could go with Snodgrass Mason Clucas Henriksen Robertson. (Meyler or Livermore in Midfield if we are up against the top teams to shore up the midfield) Back 3 Davis, Dawson Livermore/McGuire
I think we'll need to. Our options seem to be a back four with Meyler on the right or a back 3/5 with Snodders a wing back.
Pretty sure it'll be either this or Meyler at RB. I'd lean towards the latter. Meyler will do a job there I'm sure. No need to make drastic system changes.
I noticed he switched to 5 at the back against Liverpool .. albeit later in the game .. wonder if he is thinking of 5..4..1
Suspect that's just because of the 10 men. PL teams of our stature don't like having less than 5 in midfield. He wasn't going to go without a striker (he's not Bruce after all), so 3-5-1 it was.
I always thought we were better with three at the back. I've never rated Elmo and Robertson as full backs. Not sure what to do when Moses returns.
