Just a thought I was watching the news this morning about recent acid attacks and doctors were advising the public as to how to help victims by pouring on at least 60 litres of water on them .Are they that thick how do we manage to carry that amount of water around. <laugh>

Everyone knows that buses these days are full of OAPs with their passes for free travel. Nearly all of them take pills for water retention probably because doctors get paid for prescribing them. Use some commonsense peeps. Just stop doctors from prescribing and wring out the old folk. You should get at least 60 litres per bus load. Problem solved......:D

Reminds me of the time I got the most expensive water bill in history, I phoned up the water company to point out their error, the call handler duly responded that the reading was correct. So in my own sense of sarcastic humour, I pointed out that there was a river flowing outside my doorstep, the call handler seemed bemused, so i went on to point out that if i had used that many cubic metres of water I must have created my own continuous flowing river.

They subsequently went away used a calculator i guess, and duly cancelled my bill with no further charge <laugh>

That reminds me of a gas bill when I moved into my bungalow in Stokenchurch 3 years ago. before we moved in the gas board had been round condemned the boiler for being dangerous and capped the gas off .we had a new boiler fitted about 4 months after we moved in yet they sent me a bill for £200 + for the first quarter so I invited them round for dinner explaining that it would have to be a salad as we had no gas to cook with <laugh>
