Yep, that was Nigel Clough after *that* game at Bramall Lane. (sorry to remind everyone!) I remember Ronald saying 'I don't like that word' and I believe the word in question begins with the letter C and rhymes with 'punt'. Clough and his assistant Chris Morgan were screaming it from the technical areas.
If you watch the video posted earlier Ronald said that he changed the formation because Arsenal would have bossed the midfield with 5 at the back. Also because it worked before against them and he likes to play 3-5-2 when teams play 2 up front not 3 like Arsenal do.
I think as a progressive club, we should be reaching out to offer some sort of after-care package for Arsenal fans.

Well at least we have two Saints supporters who don't feel the need to second guess the manager of many years experience.
Ok. Thats a good explanation if ever I heard one. It doesn't mean that I necessarily agree with it. 5 at the back often looks like 3 at the back and 5 in midfield so, I'm not sure they'd have bossed it. But we'll never know. At least Ron is prepared to be adaptable when he thinks its required and we got a decent result.
Jose was damaged by JWP's elbow according to the DE. Someone needs to have a word with lad to be more careful in the future.
I seem to recall at least one poster, saying that he wouldn't be surprised if Ron went with a 4-4-2 instead of 3-5-2. Now if only I could remember who that was....... The only difference I would have made, to the starting lineup, would have been Targett at FB with Bertrand wide left, instead of Tadic. I thought we would need to be more defensively minded, but I can understand why Tadic was chosen, with his ability to create and score. Still more than happy with the overall performance and result.
Sadly it was Jose who ran into JWP. The lad must have super sharp elbows though, because there was a fair bit of blood on our CB hero, and James wasn't rubbing any sore point.
