Not getting my hopes up, because we’ve been here before, but this would be positive news if they’re back. Some players have had minimal rest and we need as many bodies back as possible.

 

Yeah, would love to see Partey back for this one.

Players tend to take a good 4 or 5 games to get upto speed and Howe is doing the old 'keep playing a liability' to prove a point thing with Burn at the moment.

We might be playing a different formation for the 1st time ever under Howe , but he's one of these guys that would rather lose his job than admit what he's doing isn't working.

I'm not looking forward to this.

 

Interesting. Well, you never know, he may spring a surprise or two tonight. Personally, I don't see how Hall or Livramento aren't getting in ahead of Burn at LB. But that may change tonight.

Are you Howe out?

 

I'm Howe out the day they can replace him with a manager with more respect around Europe. I don't think how's bad, but his in game management is dreadful and he just doesn't exactly boost the clubs image does he?

Newcastle need to grow the club and if we're all being completely honest Howe's a glorified Ale house manager. Unfortunately I don't think the timing is right because Newcastle need to hold fire and will go backwards for a few years due to FFP and a bigger name manager will want dollar.

 

Wtf, when did they stop red members being able to get tickets on ticketexchange? Only used it a month ago for the FA Cup game. Apparently now red members can only do it if they've entered the ballot for that particular game. Red membership cancelled for me then.

 

Decent bench for us, looking stronger than previous games.

Jorginho is starting, Trossard dropped and Havertz is playing up front. Interesting to see how these dynamics work.

Rumours before Arteta’s presser on Friday were that he and Zinchenko were going to be back for the Sheffield United game next week.

I guess we’ll find out if those rumours are true late next week.
