True story this back in 1976 a new shop opened in the town selling really nice ladies gear so i took a silk bra and cammy knickers to the counter and the lass said you have good taste that's £44 ; 00 I nearly **** myself but there was a queue of women behind me so I bought the F uckers to save the embarrassment of running, mind I got a shag a night for about a month so it was worth it.
Going to a very toxic SOL - really will be toxic if we go a goal behind - but I've a feeling we may get a good win Still be very tense atmosphere if we do though - dour daves may be over after the game - a Short thrift
The atmosphere will be exactly the same as it was in Bruce's last match in charge when we got beat off the mighty Wigan. I dare bet a lot of sland fans want us to get beat cos then more chance of the dour scot getting sacked. We are down anyway! If we win that will probs get him an extension on his contract ffs!
One can hope! But I don't think he'll be sacked. Simply because I think short has his heels dug in! Hopefully it'll be the end if we do lose
Toxic. Especially if we go 1 down early - fans will get on the players and Moyes back and as we know these players crumble under a little bit of pressure.
I'll be there. Mainly cos im a season ticket holder and I've got quite a boring life so got nowt better to do. Honestly think it could well be the first game I will ever go to when I frankly couldn't give a **** about the result.
It's a great shame reading some of the negative predictions on how the crowd will be on Saturday as it sounds that everyone is going there just to vent their anger the second something goes wrong. If it can happen the chances are it will, as Wednesday is testimony to that, but that is not what the team needs right now.The lads know they made an almighty balls up on Wednesday and would probably dearly love to put it right, but if the crowd are on their backs from the start then it is none the wonder they will fold. They need a massive lift and an encouraging crowd from the off is one way of giving them that. For all the pulse is weak there is the slimmest of chances we may avoid the drop, so writing us off now and then delightedly putting the boot in against demoralised players ain't the way of going about being a professed supporter.
They have had that support all season, sold out away games, 40000 every home game. They have given sweet FA but grief back in return.
I agree about Short's heels and although I'm not comfortable with Moyes he may show a more positive resolute (still dour) prescence in the feeder league. A dour successful leader
