I think we can manage to win the Liecester game without him. And the Chelsea game come to think of it,as we'll lose that one anyway. We need to give the lad time to heal properly,he's so important to us.
I'm optimistic Chester will be back soon although I've heard no news about it, sooner him back in the team than Davies if injuries crop up or bloody Figueroa
SB, told David Burns in the post match interview on Tuesday night, that if he does feature it would only be a small part. that he had no intensions of rushing him back after 3months.
Sling ? wtf, bloody lightweight, what does he need his arms for anyway, hes not Elmo. Get him on the pitch, back at school I remember this kid playing footy with a pot on his arm, a ****ing pot ! Chester for CoTM for march unless back playing by the 14th
The Tigers’ next fixture is a big one against bottom of the table Leicester City at the King Power Stadium, a game in which midfielder Mohamed Diame still has an outside chance of being available for having been sidelined since early December with a knee problem. “We’ve got a big few days coming up, so maybe,” said Bruce when asked if Diame had a chance of featuring against the Foxes. “We all thought he would have been back in training two weeks ago, but unfortunately he had a set-back and that can happen. “It’s touch and go. He trained fantastically well earlier this week, although not with the rest of the group. But there was no pain, so the next few days are important. “But he has been out for three months, more than that by the time we get to Leicester, so we’ll see how he is.” http://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/...tains-belief-2317907.aspx#aE4Rtc9fiUr1BExJ.99
My point is, lately everyone seems to think every player must be coming back too soon. That's understandable considering our injury record but we have to trust the pros cos our guesswork means nothing. When a player is said to be coming back for a particular game, someone (usually Tickler in fairness) always says they should be a couple more games, but what's that based on? We know nothing about it.
My 'biggest cause for optimism' (that we will stay up) was when I saw that Sunderland were playing Danny Graham. I did, up to that point, fear that we would make up the relegation places with QPR and Leicester, but after seeing Sunderland they have a far worse 'sense of direction' than any other team and if Danny is featuring in their forward line then we are safe.
The biggest cause for optimism is the fact that a very low points total will be required for safety due to the high number of poor teams scrapping at the bottom
Agreed ^^^^^ this. We need to have Mo Diame ready for after the international break with 2 away games @ Swansea and Southampton. Lesta and Chelsea will take care of themselves. imo.
