Yep, all nicely rested, no injuries from a dodgy 3G pitch and no 6-0 gubbing to **** with our minds for the run in...
But the difference is there is more pressure on newcastle and brighton as they can see us getting closer to them to take their places
but as i just said to millwall there is more pressure on newcastle and brighton as they see us getting closer to taking their places , and to add to it brighton imploded last season at the end of it , also leeds have still to play newcastle away if leeds win that it brings newcastle to 6 points difference. newcastle fixtures wigan (home) burton albion (home ) sheff wed (away) leeds (home)ipswich (away)preston(home)cardiff(away)barnsley (home) brighton fixtures blackburn (home ) birminham (home) qpr (away) wolves (away)wigan(home)norwich(away)bristol city(home)aston villa (away) right newcastle first they play wigan who are fighting to stay in championship could well be a draw , then burton albion who are also fighting to stay up, then sheff wed away hard match newcastle could lose that , leeds at home if newcastle lose that then as long as leeds have won all matches till that we would could be level by then , ipswich away could be a draw , preston at home preston could win that , cardiff away could be a draw , then barnsley at home should win that so you can see as long as leeds win there are points going to be lost by newcastle and the same goes to brighton who also have some hard games
Fair point sniffer but it's a totally different pressure when you're top than to when you're chasing.
Coupled with a lack of talent in the squad. The worst attack in the pub league was relying on having a decent defence to keep clean sheets. 9 goals conceded in two games has shown what a crock of **** that plan was!!!
He wont ever be a Chris Wood but he will always be a plank!. BTW what did you cnuts do to my mate Marcos to scare him off?
I think he's using one of his other accounts, unbeknown to yourself, you've probably been chatting to him about hoss racing on another thread
Brighton did finish last season 14 matches unbeaten, winning 9 of those. They drew their last 2, the failure at home to Derby (who finished 5th) in their penultimate match, made it a diffiicult task in their final match away at Boro who had the task of avoiding defeat for promotion. They weren't helped at Boro by a red card early in the 2nd half just after they'd got the momentum. So lets forget this implosion nonsense.
Any slim chance of autos have gone now geet and too many draws might not be enough for the playoffs either but we'll see, 16 games unbeaten but need some wins and quick.
