Unless they fly, which seems unlikely, the lads will have travelled about a thousand miles and played two games this week. I don't know how they plan the fixture lists, but it seems unfair and stupid to follow one long away trip with another one, particularly when they're only a few days apart.
Yep about 1000 miles round trip! Rovers played Saturday. Had Sunday off. Had light training Monday. Travelled to Hartlepool Tuesday. Had Wednesday off. Had light training Thursday. Had light Friday morning and travelled to Morecambe stayed overnight. Some how won 1 game and winning so far today!
According to the local news Rovers got back to Bristol at 5 30 am and were back on the training pitch later the same day being Wednesday
From what I have been told in the past is that Wednesdays is a day off for the players. Unless they have a match on a Wednesday. They then have the Thursday off. They always have the following day off after a game Unless they are made to come in following a poor performance but its rare.
