Wigan Athletic have sacked manager Gary Caldwell. He's the sixth Championship manager to be sacked in the past month.
Man Utd U21 manager Warren Joyce has just been cut from 14/1 to 1/3 to be the next Wigan boss. Curtis Woodhouse has been cut to 6/4 favourite for the Grimsby job.
They're doing a grand job. Also shout out to one of my old clubs, Whitby Town, who are currently top of the NPL. Amazing turn around under Chris Hardy.
why did the grimsby manager leave? he had them just outside the league two play off places and has gone to bottom of league one shrewsbury
Better facilities at Shrewsbury and apparently he wanted to increase the coaching staff at Grimsby but wasn't allowed
I have for a long while thought that football would be much better if the team and manager that where in place at kick off for the first game should be there for the final whistle of the last. No manager sackings, no midseason transfer window. In time would expect all managers/players on 1 year contracts. It would focus owners on keeping fans happy. What do you think ?
It'll never work. Nobody can be held against their will. We all have contracts at work but if you was unhappy you would leave in an instant. In theory yours is a good idea though.
