Carver confirmed?

Just been reading a few sources claiming Carver has told the players this morning that he will definitely be head coach for next season.

If true, from a personal point of view, I'll be done with the club. If this is what Ashley/Charnley have decided, they have done so not for football reasons, not for business reasons, not even for reasons of being inept and idiotic - they will have done so to spit in the face of the fans. For that reason, and I don't say this lightly, I would be formally handing in my Toon resignation.

 

If Carver is appointed then the club can kiss bye bye to a multitude of season ticket holders. He is NOT good enough.

if it is I'm going to cancel my ST, plain and simple.

My instinct is telling me that the Boycott Spurs folk may be behind a bit of scaremongering here to get the momentum kicking on.

 

It's a sorry state of affairs when you find yourself actually hoping that the above is true, only from the point of view of causing true revolt amongst the ranks.
Carver is in no way shape or form, good enough to be given the Head coach post. I have nothing against him, but the simple truth is the man is WAY out of his depth and l for one find it sad and a touch embarrassing to see him drowning every weekend.
That said l wouldn't put it past Ashley and Co to go right ahead and appoint him out of sheer damn stubbornness.
That surely will spell the end for the vast majority.

I hope your source is bloody correct on this. Only a madman would appoint Carver to be manager. I know Ashley is a complete an utter cnut but surely he is supposed to have some business acumen. How can you sell the club to potential new players when that useless ballsack is in charge. It has to be a Fecking windup surely!!!!!!

Surely MA has seen enough to know that carver would be the wrong choice. Not out of love for the club or fans, not even out of a desire for success, but to protect his precious advertising and cash-cow then Carver would be a huge mistake!

If this actually happens they can eat **** and die. Honestly if that fat little **** becomes permanent manager it will the biggest jobs for boys appointment in the history of the universe and relegation will be a certainty next season. Anyone who would justify it needs sectioning for life.

 

From the club that brought us Dennis Wise and Joe Kinnear, I am tempted to say that it may be true. If they are stupid enough to do this then any boycott on Sunday will pale into significance with next season.
