Apart from that, have we got any better in the League since that game? Probably not. There is the odd win, such as Everton or Liverpool, but there hasn't been too much since.

 

We don't exactly have massive mountains around Hull. Perhaps plateau and downhill mean the same thing from sea level?

No, a plateau is flat land that is significantly higher than the surrounding terrain. It really wouldn't make sense if you took sea level as the starting point.

What if we took skydiving without a parachute as the starting scenario, then downward and splattering on a plateau would be the same thing.

 

Or at sea level but without buoyancy (i.e. in the water).

 

It could be like those 2 guys last week in Yosemitie that base jumped of one of the cliffs with those wing things they wear. They smashed into the cliff and fell the rest of the way.

Exactly. The other night he had some woman on who had only been to the KC once and when he asked her were she was from she said L**ds for **** sake. He then carried on interviewing her for about another 5 mins.
Obviously as she was from L**ds she could only give inane answers of no more than one syllable.
