I dont mind paying the prices ...BUT the ALLAMS are twats for not having half price coach travel for under 18s and for not having bring a kid for free for games they know will not out selll out
This thread isn't about ticket prices it's about the hysterical bias of HCST/CTWD in their press release.
"Football should be like breathing air". Dunno where Assem gets his air from, but can't say I've ever paid £50 for it.
Answers as follows: How much did Everton charge us for tickets for probably the worst view in football earlier in the season? £37 (we charged them £35) How much did Arsenal charge us to help pay for their shiny new stadium? £26 How much did Liverpool charge to be insulted and man-handled by their overbearing stewards? £43
HCST haven't issued a press release, they've just posted the details of the Spirit Of Shankly announcement on the HCST website.
I personally don't think that the prices are that bad at all. Yes £50 is extortionate but £16 for teams like Stoke, Burnley etc is excellent value. It's a compromise, I don't think it's too bad in the long run. I always prefer games against teams around us, as I like to see us win. I don't go to admire the opposition
I would prefer that ALL season passes for every Premier League club were at the same price. Why not have a level playing field as far as ticketing goes. Why not cap all basic season tickets at £500 or less? The TV money increases justify some form of return to the supporters.
No, the press release, sorry I mean website update for who are more cerebrally challenged, produced only part of "the facts" that is designed to portray Hull City in a bad light. Hence the comment at the end of the article.
So it seems Liverpool supporters are boycotting their fixture with us over the ticket prices. Will be good to have more home atmosphere, but pretty embarrassing all the same.
It only works if they all don't turn up, it makes the ones that do look stupid! Huddersfield springs to mind!
They're only embarrassing themselves, scouse ****s. God forbid a little club like us has the audacity to charge less than they charge for their Cat A games for away supporters, but more than we charge Everton. ****s. Did you not notice the other 2 threads on this subject btw?
People objecting to ticket prices - fans. People who set ticket prices - owners. You're only embarrassing yourself.
I agree tickets could and should be lower in price. In every club across the leagues. I've never said anything different to that point of view. I think they're a bunch of ****s for making out they are going to boycott their game against us as a protest against what they specifically see as us having the audacity for charging them at our Cat A rates because they see us as below Cat C and while they'll pay £50+ for the top 4 teams away, they would rather we carried them in on our shoulders free of charge for this game, because, hey, they're the Mighty Liverpool. How dare we charge them money to see a game against us. Obviously you can't see that, you can sniff another protest to give your life meaning. At your age you should be calming down a bit, all this anger aint good for your heart. If they were serious, they'd boycott their own club for the prices they charge, as well as all away games. They're just sneering at us, and supposedly proud people of Hull like you are tugging your forelock to them. Now that is embarrassing. What's funny is, their stupid fake protest against us will fail because there's plenty of tourists and plastic Liverpool fans who will buy the tickets. The same people who prop their club up with buying merchandising and who swell all their crowds. While they pay their tenners to reserve something, so they can have priority on the big games which cost them more than playing us in any case. Bizarre.
