Might be an 'arrowing experience? To all who cannot see the point I sentence you to hang by the neck until you cheer up............
After someone told Pelle to "shoot himself" (instead of passing it) even shooting oneself in the foot would result in a miss and a waste of a bullet.
I think that the Echo have got it wrong. Villa fans did it a few weeks back and it sort of underlines them as a "joke" .... nothing like the local paper instigating a "gag": about the team it is meant to back.
Very disappointed in the humourless responses to the Echo's little bit of nonsense, the new breed of Saints fans seem to be totally lacking in a sense of fun, over sixty years of ups and downs I have never experienced such a misreable bunch of moaners. To be a real Saints fan a sense of humour is essential considering what we have all been through.
You can say lack of sense of humour Don, but very quickly in todays social media world, we could become laughing stocks and the thing blows out of all proportion and adds to the pressure on the team. 60 years ago you had to blow smoke from the top of Twyford down to get a message out there. I just think we don't need extra pressure on the players, nothing to do with lack of humour.
I feel sorry for Gordon Simpson, Adam Leitch and co. They're now going to take the brunt of it because their editor decided he was an amateur comedian who fancied a go, with someone else's joke. It's Simpson and Leitch who will now have their position compromised - presumably in tomorrow night's mixed-zone.
It would only work in the Chapel End anyway, and you will have to make sure you were holding it the right way up or else the whole thing would be totally chaotic. I think there is an alternative free "We March On" poster on offer anyway which should eclipse the arrows?
