People can be forced to see an image but nobody can be forced to read words. It's an adult site. Don't see where it was breaking site rules. Unles a whole thread has been spited over one post?

Marcus. What exactly broke the rules? Last I saw of the thread there was nothing out of order on it. There's worse left open all the time. They aren't locked let alone deleted.

Personally I don`t give a toss what anybody posts but because of reports it was assigned to me to deal with it so I did.

My name is on the deleted thread. There`s no hiding. I have no idea why everybody can`t see that.

As far as locking threads is concerned, if posts are causing offence why leave the posts open to be read by others and cause more offence?

Obviously some are offended some are not (I`m not) but trying to keep everybody happy is thankless and for the most part ****ing impossible.

 

I can see who deleted it Pops but that's cos I used to be a mod, anyone else it is hidden from view completely and they just don't see it.

Nope disappears completely. That's why the mods used to lock threads, not delete them. Transparency. People still have conversions going on after all. People put time into responses which then get wiped without the other person ever seeing them. Lock and remove offending post was the way. But even then usually a lock with explanation was all that was required.

If you look around the site the locking method is in play. There's one on page nine of the prem board and one on page three of the Hull board.
