what is happening with the Alvarez situation surely if the lad neede an op on his knee he should have sorted this out himself and getting himself fit for who ever he ends up playing for
It's gone beyond a joke now like. Feel sorry for the lad. Why is it taking so long to sort out? Never known owt like it tbh.
I think he'd be a useful player for us if fit. Like Giaccherini didnt really get the opportunity to play consistently but has talent
Maybe. But at the same time, you said yourself, he could've sorted it out himself. It's not like these lads are short of a bob or two. I don't feel sorry for his situation at all.

I thought Porto had come in for him. Be interesting to see what the bid is and whether both clubs then fight to keep him.
Bit harsh on the lad imho. He's been litterally abandoned by both clubs.[/QUOTE] Not really. He can afford to fix his knee and recharge one of the clubs. I'm sure as **** I wouldn't sit round for months with a gammy knee if I was a professional athlete! I'd get it sorted for my own peace of mind!
AG ALVAREZ: "NOW IT IS FREE, AT NO COST. THE INTER CEDED IT, BUT THE SUNDERLAND ..." 09/03/2015 16:02 by Daniel Vitiello Twitter: DanViti article read 10275 times Ricky Alvarez , after the tough standoff between Inter and Sunderland , is free. Spoke of his future agent, Marcelo Simonian , speaking on TMW : "It is a free agent, is that Inter from Sunderland. Free transfer? Yes, exactly. Inter has transferred to Sunderland, which is not has exercised its option to buy it and so now we are free. In Europe, at the moment, we have nothing. Probably will play in Argentina. River Plate? Really, I do not know. With the River but I have not spoken " . **** knows how this outcome has happened, it's makes no sense to me. But his agent has decalred him a free agent after we decided against our option to buy.
So the sense I'm making of it now, is that the player is a free agent. Therefore the FIFA hearing is about who's liable only. So if FIFA rule against us, we pay the transfer fee but get no player.
Can't be right. Inter cannot transfer him to us if we don't sign the papers also. There's no way FIFA could expect us to pay a transfer fee and not receive a player...
Am i reading it differant to everyone else? I was reading it that he is a free agent and he is free to look for another club. We don't pay a fee but Inter don't get a fee so therefore we win and Inter lose? Alvarez is a winner also. I'm probs getting it completely wrong like!..
