    Leicester (with europe coming up) and Bournemouth who look a shadow of the side without Ake (Chelsea wouldn't sell for £18 million) could well be pulled right into this mire...

    Always the danger , when people were writing these 4 games off as free hits and saying we need to start our season against Burnley , was no way all the other teams were going to lose 4 in a row , if we don't pick up a result in this tough sequence , we are ****ed

    It looks like Hull City will have to do it the old fashioned way & beat the teams around us & get some random points in unexpected games.

    Mmm , difficult to see which 3 we can overtake at the moment. Always assumed Sam Allardyce will get something out of Palace but Swansea getting the new manager bounce is a blow and I had high hopes of Watford before tonight. Currently think we are targeting Boro, Sunderland and Leicester. The other thing about Swansea winning at Liverpool and Watford at Arsenal is that we cant just see these next 3 games as a free hit. We really need to stay in touch with a point or three and then hope for a run of 2-3 wins on the bounce once we're through the next three.

    Jesus, some of the panicking about the results tonight is nuts. We were always going to be adrift by the time our game against Burnley came around. As long as we pick up at least 20 points by the end of the season that's all that matters.
