That would be cool, but I fear he may simply have been twatted by the head coach, who looks every bit a mass murderer.
Well I was thoroughly entertained (thanks for the tickets OLM). Won at a canter, should have scored the two that hit the woodwork. Fair play to the Lithuanian fans who were loud and proud, even at 4-0 down. Only downsides for me were the half time limit on alcohol (don't remember that last time) and some oik nabbing one of my complimentary programmes at half time (left them on my seat - guess you can't even trust club wembley patrons even though they can get their own for free). Oh, I guess I should also add the terrible burger joint next to the stadium (where we asked for a refund after not having received our food an hour after ordering) and the horrendous rush hour tube journey on the way there. Still, roll on Wrexham on Sunday where everything will be different.
Kane should have started this game. but at least he got a goal. if he'd started it could have been one of the best debuts on history as Lithuania were clearly rubbish or overawed
Speaking of the Euro qualifiers, did anybody see our very own James Chester as a pundit on Sky's coverage of Wales earlier? How did he do?
He didn't say much but there was a rather eerie 'baa' noise in the background along with a lot of huffing and puffing.
