Kerr'a on heavy medication for a serious health problem. He hinted earlier that he shouldn't be there really. I'm surprised he's still alive to be honest.
I wouldn't disagree with a word of that, and having worked in broadcasting I've seen folks that could barely function still broadcast to the bitter end! I know why both the presenter and the broadcasters let them do it, but I agree it doesn't make great listening.
It's quite sad listening to a once fit young footballer slowly unravel on the radio. Time for a new pundit I think.
This small squad could be a blessing in disguise. All we need to worry about are injuries. Other than that, I don't think there's anything better than he same 11 starting and gelling and backing each other up. No journeymen. Remember the days when we Complained about Managers playing players out of Position and starting new teams every Saturday? realistically this team has to last until January. I'm sure we'll be busy during That time and will strengthen, along with maybe some injured players coming back.
Sadly, Blackandamber I think you're right! He's been round the block as a player and manager. As a summeriser he knows the game, if a bit old school and has been about as un PC as you'll ever hear on the wireless these days, but he sounds in pain (and sadly is) ... Time to let go!
I believe he had a heart attack or stroke a couple of seasons ago. Maybe that's impaired his speech a wee bit. I quite enjoy his humour when I listen to the Scunny broadcasts.
