This will be the first time I've used it, as I usually drive but I really can't be arsed for the Final. I was just wondering what kind of leeway you get with regards to going for a beer before and preferably after the game? Is there time for a pint or is it literally you come out the stadium and get back on the coach?
They say no drinking on the coach but just take a coke bottle full of whisky etc. You'll get there pretty quick, good couple of hours to have a beer. Its the journey back that is the nightmare. We got on the coach straight after the semi and 3 hours later had travelled 78 miles.
I think they've changed the policy and you can now drink alcohol on the coaches as long as you do it quietly. Bus 1 on Saturday had a sign on the outside saying 'no drinking of alcohol aloud on this coach"
We were told we would be refused entry to Wembley if they searched and found alcohol. No idea if this is bullshit to stop us drinking or if it's Wembley rules.
Ours was later than that. We were one of the first in the car park so later to leave. Plus then getting back to your house. Was about half one for me getting home. But it was worth it.
Not normally. But as I was at work the next morning and had to be in for an 8am meeting and didn't get home till after half one then yes. Yes it was.
Fair enough, they did search bags as we got on the coach but followed it on the coach with 'if anyone has any alcohol and they find it we will be refused entry to Wembley so make sure you get rid of it'
Gonna have to be tiger travel I think. Spoke to N yesterday and said will know by Thursday about booking it.
Be grateful you aren't a Barcelona or Real Madrid fan. They played their cup final in Valencia which is slightly further away for both clubs than Hull is from London. That kicked off at 9.30pm on a Sunday night so you wouldn't have got out of the ground until after midnight. Madrid flew home and had a victory parade at about 3 or 4am. Imagine the whinging if that was here. Yet they seem to manage with no problems.
