The Bristol Rovers Football Club Open Day will take place at the Memorial Stadium on Monday 1st August 2016, from 12.00 noon to 4.00pm. It's been very difficult to arrange this year's event, given the number of pre-season games, the change to a new kit supplier and the fact that the squad are spending a week at a training camp in Spain. We appreciate that holding the event on a weekday means that not all of our supporters will be able to attend, but hope that they appreciate the reasons why it's one of the few days on which it could be held. The event is free to attend and among the attractions and types of entertainment confirmed are: Fans' first opportunity to purchase the new season's kit Meet Manager Darrell Clarke and his first team squad. Behind-the-scenes tours of the dressing room Face painting BBQ Raffle for a signed shirt Open Day Schedule: 11.00am Shirt sponsor player handover (DriBuild suite) 12.00noon Official opening 12.15pm onwards Dressing Room tours 12.15pm - 3.00pm Player autographs 2.30pm Raffle draw for shirt 3.00pm Players depart 4.00pm Event closes Please note that the Club Shop at The Memorial Stadium will be open from 9.00am - 5.00pm. http://www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news...te-announced-3171258.aspx#E7jDrUDVAbPwukGc.99
They got an excuse this time. They only just signed a deal with a new kit supplier so will take time to get a stock in the shop
According to whispers it's looking unlikely that the shirts will be in before we start the season. This is why we have training tops with numbers as we are not allowed to use last years shirts. The word from back room staff is we might have to start the season in the training kit as it is unlikely that they will be ready before the Cardiff match.
But they need plenty of spares judging by the way they ripped in the Swiss v France match as one of their players said they don't make condoms do they
