    Come on England! I know this is the game nobody wants but they have two massive incentives here: 1) It's against Germany so beating the Germans is always important 2) If they win, it'll be the best performance by any men's or women's team since 1966. Though if they lose, they'll still match 1990, but wouldn't it be great to be the best since 1966?

    Could happen in any game...you can't just worry about one game. A match at the WC can never be a match no one is interested in....surely preseason games and friendlies are less important.

    I think the 3rd place team gets medals. I'm on my phone and can't be bothered to look it up to be sure. But there's an incentive there to win it if so.

    If it was the men's competition and we had Germany, I think we'd be up for it.

    Pointless speculation I suppose, the thought of England getting out of the group stages.
